Hello everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! We have one more week, and then Holiday break! We still have some work to finish, so let’s focus... at least till Friday! I will be absent today AND tomorrow. I expect mature behavior and respect for the Sub. I will be back on Wednesday…. AND no… we are not watching Shark Tank today, tomorrow or Wednesday. It will be Shark Tank Friday ;)
We have been creating Business Letters for over the last couple weeks. The first letter we created was a Personal Business Letter, we are now creating a Business Letter. The subject and purpose of the letter is to create a letter asking another business, charity, person, or community leader etc. to be apart of your business’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
Important Info for your letter:
Corporate Social Responsibility also referred to as CSR is a business acting in ways that balance profits and growth with the good of society.
YOUR BUSINESS LETTER MUST BE E-MAILED TO [email protected] - SUBJECT: BUSINESS LETTER, PERIOD #. YOUR BUSINESS LETTER IS DUE WEDNESDAY BY THE END OF YOUR CLASS PERIOD.
Extra Credit for Seniors - You can take time today and tomorrow to reflect on the Field Trip to Devry last week. Create a presentation showcasing what you learned from the workshops. You will have to present to the class to receive the extra credit. You are teaching the students who did not have the opportunity to attend - we want them to gain the same knowledge you had the chance too!
If you finish early, please take this time to get caught up with missing blog comments!

Important Info for your letter:
- The format for a Business Letter is different from a Personal Business Letter - check your notes. You can take this type to think/create a logo for your business.
- You are creating the letter in regards to the business you are creating this year
- Think about how you want your business to give back to the community.
- If you are having difficulties coming up with a way your business can give back, research different companies. Look for their Corporate Social Responsibility mission.
- If you are creating a partnership this year, I only need one letter but I need each partner to e-mail a copy.
